Whether you live in the area or are just visiting for a few days, you can enroll your kids in an entirely different type of summer camp – Hands On Art Camp!

Each year, Hands On, offers new and fun projects with special focus on outdoor art forms, exciting multi-media explorations and plenty of favorite projects like pottery, clay, paper masks, t-shirt painting, hand built kaleidoscopes, mosaics, metal garden art and birdhouses. Older campers have the opportunity to partake in more complex projects in the metal studio and glass studio, combining mediums and creating larger-scale art objects.

2009 Art Camp runs from the week of June 15th through the week of August 17th, and separate sessions are available for different age groups. A great deal of personal attention is given to each budding artist, so class sizes are limited. All supplies and materials are included in the enrollment fee, and we provide healthy snacks to keep our campers focused.

Two-day Art Camp sessions are available for 5 to 8 year-olds on Mondays and Tuesdays The session is 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The enrollment fee is $90.00.

Three-day Art Camp sessions are available for 9 to 15 year-olds on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays The session is 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The enrollment fee is $135.00.
